Craft:

Exposures are made using Reis and Berlebach wooden tripods, a Toyo 4x5 field camera with Nikkor and Fujinon large format lenses or Mamiya and Rollieflex medium format cameras.

Negatives are developed with highly dilute Rodinal ( now named Adox Adonal ) using either tray or small tank processing.  I am currently using Ilford FP4+ and Kodak TMAX 400 4x5 sheet film and Kodak TMAX 400 120 roll film.

Prints are made on ILFORD Warmtone or AGFA MCC 111 fiber papers, developed in PF130 usually diluted 1:1, and selenium toned for color, intensification and permanence.

Films are laid directly against the paper for printing which yields a photograph with a sharpness equal to the original negative and without the grain magnification produced by enlarging.  As such, print sizes are determined by the size of the in camera negative.

Print size refers to the film used, actual sizes will be slightly smaller and vary with each image.
