Exposures are made using Reis and Berlebach wooden tripods, a Toyo 4x5 field camera with Nikkor and Fujinon large format lenses or Mamiya RB67 and Rollieflex T medium format cameras.
4x5 inch negatives are developed in Pyrocat HD diluted 1+1+100 by rolling BTZS style developing tubes in a tray of water. Medium format negatives are developed in small stainless tanks using highly dilute Rodinal. I am currently working with Kodak Tri-X 320 4x5 sheet film and Kodak Tmax 400 120 roll film.
Prints are made on either ILFORD Warmtone or Ilford Classic fiber papers, developed in Kodak Dektol diluted 1+2, and selenium toned for color, intensification and permanence.
Films are laid directly against the paper for printing which yields a photograph with a sharpness equal to the original negative and without the grain magnification produced by enlarging. As such, print sizes are determined by the size of the in camera negative.
Print size refers to the film used, actual sizes will be slightly smaller and vary with each image.
|Print Size||Mount / Over Mat||Price|
|8x10 inches||13x15 inches||$250.00|
|4x5 inches||13x15 inches||$150.00|

All negatives and prints are hand processed by Shawn. Photographs are mounted, over matted, dated and signed in pencil on the mount; titled, numbered and dated on the verso. Though prints are not limited, prices may increase as an image sells.
All prints are mounted on and over matted with Artic White (8465v), four ply AlphaMat Artcare board. A brushed silver metal frame, complete with framing grade acrylic and ready to hang is available for an additional $50.00.
