Contact Prints:
Photographs are contact printed on Kentmere graded papers or Ilford multi grade papers, developed in an Amidol or Sprint QSPD
solution, double fixed, selenium toned, washed, and dried on fiberglass screens.
Negatives are developed individually in tubes with Pyrocat HD using either the semi-stand process or continuous gentle
agitation. Development times range from 6 to 70 minutes depending on the process used and contrast desired.
Exposures are made using Nikkor APO process lenses, Reis wooden tripod, a large format view camera and various backs and
adapters to create 8x10, 4x10 and 4x5 inch negatives.
Each negative is laid in direct contact with the photographic paper for printing which yields a photograph with a sharpness
equal to the original negative and without the grain magnification produced by enlarging smaller films.
Enlargements:
Enlargements are made on Ilford multi grade fiber papers using a Nikkor EL lens, developed in Sprint QSPD, double fixed, selenium
toned, washed, and dried on fiberglass screens.
Negatives are developed on stainless steel reels with highly dilute Rodinal using the semi-stand process for maximum sharpness
and compensating effects.
Exposures are made on 35mm roll film using Pentax K2 slrs and Pentax SMC fixed focal length lenses.
